Currently have cars (not GS admittedly) with both colors. Black is the way to go: Classy, refined, better resale. Grey is just drab and easily stained.

I prefer the light gray for the contrast with the black carpets, etc. If you are getting Linear Espresso Wood it would be a dynamite combo. I guess I prefer not going with black because I live in TX and we have triple digit temps during the summer.

The GS has a good, strong air conditioning system, and the interior doesn't hold heat nearly as badly as other cars. I also live in Texas, and after our last burst of 100+ weather, I was pleasantly surprised. More 100+ heat coming up, so I'm glad they engineered this thing well.

I think I am sold on black as well. Thanks for all the comments.

While i like the look of the gray, Blue on black is a very rare combo. And it will stand up better.

Now, I just need somebody to buy my Mercedes so I can justify placing the order.

I like the cut of your jib.

However, I am not some 1%er who can blow that kind of money.

I'll add my 2 cents here. I have have a couple of cars with the grey interior. If you plan on keeping the car a while you will be much happier with the black. Like other posters have mentioned once you start getting the cracks and dirt in the leather there is much you can do to keep it clean and the cracks always look black.

I thing it depends on how much you like cleaning, I had ivory leather in my old GS 450h, and because I kept it clean it looked like new 4 years later when I PX it.
I personally think the grey contrast would look better, all black would be to dark for me, I prefer a lighter interior, I now have Black and cabernet, and as I thought that with the black carpet and head lining it would feel dark inside I had a sunroof fitted.

Love the light grey in my Lexus, liquid platinum/gray. It does stain more easily, and you have to use leather conditioner and cleaner more than in the black, since the GS dash is black, and if you choose white ok titanium, then black. Blue and flaxen would look the best IMHO.
