Ashamed to admit I just bought a 4GSF-Sport
Its not what you think....
I was a member of the HS250 CL forum and wrote a long post about how I love the HS250 after one of my buds on the forum, just traded his in. In fact, he wrote a long post about why he decided to get something else. Well, after 2 yrs, i'm ashamed to admit I joined him.
I couldn't help it. OMG. I have an hour commute to work and LOVED the HS for its 38+ mpg), but dang, I don't recall how many times I got in front of a semi and for the life of me, couldn't get out of its way. The motor on the HS sounded like a Singer Sewing machine, the car was accelerating as fast as it could, but the MACK logo kept getting larger and larger in the rear-view mirror. I'm pretty sure I even saw a KIA soul pass me.
So.. with a few dealer incentives, I took the plunge and man, I coudnt be happier. The 4GSF-Sport is fast, accelerates like a rocket and fuel mileage is decent (high 20s on the fwy). I DO miss the mpgs and it would be better for my needs if my commute was in stop-n-go traffic in the city, but in the end, the HS was not the right car for me.
So, like a traitor to his country, I proudly say, I LOVE my GS350 F-Sport! Now, if I can only learn to not snap my head back when I press the gas.

congratz on your purchase... i had a 2012 CT200H as a loaner for a few days so,, so i know how it feels to hit the gas in the GS and forget that you don't have to press hard like in the hybrids(450H excluded). we need to see her,, we need proud owner pics. enjoy her,,, another satisfied owner

Congrats OP. I am in the same boat. Drive a Camry hybrid with life sucking CVT on 90 mile round trip commute. Can't wait to inject some life into the commute with a 4GS. I may miss the range of the hybrid (500 miles), but I'm sure Sport+ mode will make up for it. Please post some details and pics in the Roll Call thread.
