I've been trying 5 - I think I"m about to go to 7. I guess I just don't merge fast enough

 

I changed mine from 3 to 5 using the pdf. Extraordinarily helpful thanks for posting it!!!

Thank you! Just changed to 7. I love using my blinkers. I couldn't find this option on techstream or my aftermarket scanner. I did the windows with the remote with my scanner, but could only find DRL on/off in reference to lighting....

 

Hey all, just picked up a 13 GS350 AWD, did this and it worked changed to 5. has anyone figured out how to change this to same direction cancel and 5 clicks?

I have a 2016 so maybe it's different. Soft click does lane change, hard click does standard turn.

If you want to cancel either of those you soft click the opposite direction I thought? Is that different from what you're asking?

 

What I wanted to know is how to change it to same direction cancel. Basically if I change a lane but did a hard click and need to cancel I want it to be same direction not opposite

 

Ah...I didn't even know that was possible.

I found this post 36 in this thread but reading things around it I don't know if I know the answer. Some seem to suggest that if you can't have both the lane change (3,5,7) and same direction cancel at the same time, others seem to say you can.

Anyone know for sure?

Did you remember to do it from the passenger's seat, only using your left hand, while wearing a blue polo shirt, and keeping your right index finger on your nose?

Sorry - I couldn't resist - when I did this it seemed like the instructions should have at least a couple of those things included....

But seriously - it took me three or four tries to get it. I finally realized it has you doing all of these things with the wiper lever and then the VERY last one is with the turn signal indicator. I was doing the wiper lever for step 10 which of course wasn't right . Once I figured that out it worked. I don't know if that may be the issue or if the RX is different but I figured if my mistake helped someone else than it was a good thing!

 

When I had my 2013 RX350, I had to change it through Carista.

Thanks for all your helps. No luck getting it to work on the rx. Gonna try to buy the diode dynamics led flasher. Would have been nice to do it without purchasing and installing accessories, but oh well. I got used to the feature on my Infiniti, its hard not to have the one touch blinkers
