Airlift runs sales throughout the year. They just had a 15% off sale. I believe they'll do a tax season sale. I got mine during Black Friday and it's the cheapest I've seen. Installation is a bit of an undertaking if you plan to do it yourself. I wrote up a DIY in the suspension section of the forum.

I have an air cup kit, so it rides like regular coilovers when aired down, and the spring rate goes up when aired up. I guess they're opposite of the bags in terms of spring rate when aired up/down. Just another option to consider

@DuB Thank you greatly for the info- I thought I knew my ****** when it came to cars, but somehow I did not know this technology existed. This is a pretty interesting option.

Glad to help A plus with the cup kit is that if there are any issues with the air system (leaks, compressor failure, etc), the car is still drivable. Although I don't know the incidence of critical failures with bags, so I don't know how big of a problem that is. I saw a YouTube video of an RCF with a bag failure at like 2am and it looked like a nightmare. He drove home at 5mph with the rear dumped, and had to remove his rear splitter so it wouldn't get dragged off.

Don't cups serve the opposite function over air bags? You air up the cups temporarily to clear obstacles but primarily drive on the springs whereas air bags you're aired up while driving?

Yeah, you got it. So air cups are always at a drivable height, even if the air system has a problem, and I got them for that reason. But they aren't as fun as airbags though since the range of motion is less. With airbags you can go from really dumped to really high.

I do drive aired up a little more than halfway if the roads are particularly bad though. It comes out to be about stock height. The spring rate is just a bit stiffer at that height. At my current ride height, aired all the way up is a little higher than stock, and the spring rate goes way up and is pretty bouncy.

Are all coilovers compatible with air cups? I want to buy the RS-R Best-I AVS compatible coilovers but want to make sure they are air cups compatible.

Amazing what springs and spacers will do, wish the car looked more like that from the factory.

Did you install adjustable camber arms in the rear? Camber looks off, though hard to tell from pictures alone.

From what I understand, yeah they are. The cups just need to be customized to the coilover, specifically the shaft diameter.

Really nice stance. What size are your wheels and tires?

Installed the GS-F door puddle lights and found some F-Sport door striker plates. Don't mind the scuff on the side of the plate.
