Scheduled a Test Drive - SOLD!
I have about 100 miles on the car and will post detailed impressions after some more miles. Overall very pleased, but miss a few things about the LS like the composed ride over rough pavement. More details to come...
Congratulations and what is the recommended break in mileage before stepping on that gas pedal a little harder? I asked the sales advisor and he said that you can not really hurt it because the computer will regulate everything and will not let you over do the engine. But I am still extremely careful and not pushing her too hard just yet. I have about 200 miles on the clock.

Breaking in your new Lexus
To extend the life of the vehicle, observing the following precautions is recommended:
●For the first 186 miles (300 km):
Avoid sudden stops.
●For the first 621 miles (1000 km):
• Do not drive at extremely high speeds.
• Avoid sudden acceleration.
• Do not drive continuously in low gears.
• Do not drive at a constant speed for extended periods.
My service advisor simply recommended under 3000rpm for first 1k miles.
OK, I promised more details...
Overall impression is that I'm ecstatic about the car. The driving experience is exactly what I was looking for, cabin comfort is excellent for me, infotainment is great, and that car looks awesome inside & out.
Negatives:
- The rought pavement issue I mentioned probably has more to do with the car being a sports sedan v. luxo barge like the LS430 was. The other handling advantages make up for it.
- Flimsy / light trunk lid. This has been mentioned before and doesn't feel up to Lexus standards,
- Need more front seat storage for sunglasses, etc. aside from rather useless cupholders and shallow center console.
- Confusing automatic wiper control. I think I have it figured out, but will see what happens when it rains again.
- Momentary contact turn signal switch. I know this has become the industry standard, but I like the old style switch.
- Haven't figured out how to move up one station (not one preset) on satellite radio without reaching across to the manual tuning dial. This may be a user problem with me.
- Poor dealer prep of the car. I spent 30+ minutes removing plastic film over interior trim pieces, lamps, and cutting away a long rubbery string hanging down from the rear seat. I called the sales manager and said that I was concerned that there may be other, more important prep items that were not done correctly. He assured me that it was only the interior prep "kid" that missed those items and there were no other under-hood items to be missed. He offered to have the car re-inspected at my convenience.
Positives:
- Outstanding seat comfort and adjustability. Seat cooling that actually works. GF was afraid to play with the myriad of passenger seat controls, but liked the seat warmer.
- Excellent cockpit size and fit for me.
- Excellent interior material quality and execution. Nothing feels Toyota-esque.
- Great nav & display. Still playing and learning. I love the input device (have since Lexus introduced it). Compass feature is cool, as are the upcoming exit & traffic displays.
- Great driving dynamics. Not too loose and darty nor too heavy and wallowy. It seems just right, even in normal mode. Good reserve power at highway speeds.
- Car simply looks great at most any angle.

As far as the moving up one station on the satellite radio, I feel your pain. I can't figure it out on the GX460 I got for the wife last week
One additional negative:
- The long and tedious process of sitting in front of a computer at the dealership to register for all the Enform, Lexus online, dealer website, etc. services. That took longer than any other part of the delivery process - made worse by the dealer's slow internet service.

My dealership actually let me do all the Enform and other website sign-ups at home, so it certainly helped.
The only additional "cons" (or issues that I haven't found a workaround for yet) that I'd add
1. Non-maintenance free battery (haven't seen one of these where we have to add distilled water) in years. Not sure why Lexus went with this!
2. Can't find an easy way to cancel route guidance/navigation (without having to use remote touch and clicking a few buttons to end route guidance
3. Can't easy way to stop/start air conditioning (turning compressor on/off) - without having to use remote touch and clicking a few buttons.
I thought the Auto physical button would do this, but nope. The only way to do this is to go into climate settings screen and click on "A/C" soft-button. Most of the time, I need the "A/C" compressor on anyway, so it is fine. But on good pleasant days, I just leave the air re-circulation off to let outside air in, and keep windows up to reduce highway noise, and I don't want the A/C running.
4. No option to automatically make the music mute/pause (or at least lower the volume) to let the navigation message be heard
(missing sunglass holder as caddyowner already mentioned)
But other than that, no complaints (yet)
