My 4GS (liquid platinum/ black interior) is now in my garage. I want to pass along a comment on the paint color. Lexus came out with a new paint process, but as far as I know the only color they use that on presently is the liquid platinum. This color does actually tend to highlight the contours of the body lines and for me was an important consideration in my color selection. For some time prior to my purchase I was in contact with Lexus to see when they would apply this technology to other colors. As of now I have not gotten an answer to that question. Anyone considering a 4GS might want to see one in silver before making a color decision. Maybe we can collectively cause Lexus to emphasize speeding up the process for other colors. BTW the a traveling Lexus team member told me that any dealer can satisfactorily match the color should a ding occur.
BTW at Lexus of Tacoma they have added window tinting to a silver example on the showroom. It is HOT!

i agree. post some pics.. personally i perfer white but i can always change in opinion

 

white looks real nice in person, esp with the f sport wheels....Nebula gray looks better in pics, but in person I still preferred the starfire pearl

 

Congrats, I love the liquid platinum an I must say when I compared to my silver it was a joke it really looks good in person.

 

well whatever paint process they use, Lexus needs to have nano paint technology across the lineup...ie self healing paint
