my kid works for BG ( supplies products to the shops/dealers ) so I did a coolant and brake flush along with induction service and oil change just to get everything to a baseline. I also did pads/rotors all the way around ( my labor ). Will be two years of ownership in Jan and at 135K now. Bite the bullet and do the plugs. I did that through Toyota since my kid was working at a dealer at the time and get's $75/hour labor rate.
Change the coolant.
You don’t want it turning acidic and eating at your head gaskets.
Yea they sell strips but just to be safe change it out. Usually every 6 years or 100K.
Hi all. New guy here. Just picked up this ‘14 GS350 from autonation. Loving it so far. Does it look lowered or do they just ride this low? The calipers are blue also. Is that an option or just a mod the PO did?

Nice! Blue calipers were not an option, just a mod done by the PO. Looks like it might be lowered a tad, grab a side shot to confirm. Also, idk where those wheels are from. PO probably had a different set on and swapped them before they sold it.
I am owned a Lexus GS 450h FSport for three years and previously owned an IS250 Sport. Needless to say, I am delighted with this brand. Ever since I bought the IS, I fell in love with these cars and cannot imagine driving any other. I have been a member of the Lexus forum in Spain for years and am now joining this one to be part of a larger community where I can share and learn more.

GS 450h 09.2013 - 147.000km
Luxury Line
White Pearl
Beige Interior
Mark Levinson
Sunroof
HUD
LKA
Radar
Full Options+
1. Added missing heated steering wheel (only option not available in Germany pre-facelift from factory) and Facelift wheel makes GS look more modern and i like new button layout much better
2. Added 2014+ leather shifter console - old open style makes GS look dated, new leather boot looks so much better
3. Hidden the "eye monitor" in the steering column, bough new upper part without holes from RHD - they are 100% identical - i dont like "eye monitor" cause its in the way and rather annoying - unplugging causes warning light - but just hiding works
4. Wrapped all of the Interior "red wood and piano black parts" i dont like red - black shimamoku looks much better, and piano black is annoying, dust and fingerprints, wrapped everything in "3M Matte Dark Gray" - fits perfect to steering wheel, multimedia, mouse silver plastik parts - first time i ever wrapped anything - the most hard part were all 4 piano black door panels with switches - but i think i did a good job for the first time
5. Took the Tacho completely apart and un-soldered the speaker inside - soldered 1 foot back and the other foot i forked into 2 wires i routed outside - this way the speaker is disabled if the wire is not connected together - this speaker removed lexus chime and blinker sound - it took about 2-3 days to get used, but i can finally enjoy Mark Levinson on long turn traffic lights - the wire is outside the tacho and hidden behind the panel, if i decide to sell GS some day and new owner wants the feature turned back on - it will take less then a minute to just connect wire back together without removing anything - this is the best mod i did to my GS so far - and i never wanna go back for sure!
6. ES 2018+ F-Sport 19 Wheels sadly dont fit on GS in the front with 356mm Brakes - they need at least 8+mm spacers i only found 10mm each side but cause of Germany TÜV i am not sure i will keep those wheels, i like ES F-Sport wheels visually much better than GS Original F-Sport 2012+ (sadly finding original GS F-Sport is impossible as nobody sells them apart from GS) - the Facelift 2016 F-Sport wheels would be number 3 for me, i like them the least ...
i came down from 2018 LS 500h F-Sport AWD with just 70.000km, there were things i liked but more things that i hated about LS - in my opinion GS 450h Luxury Full trim is much better car for its price ofc...
my wish car would be 2018 GS 450h Luxury Facelift - White Pearl on Lotuswhite Leather - sadly such GS doesnt exist and i never saw one for sale in multiple years... i have so much more things i would like to do on the Facelift that aren't worth doing on my 2013 ...
We are a Lexus Family
owned multiple models
2013 IS 300h Luxury - Black on Beige - not full
2017 IS 300h Luxury - White Pearl on Beige - Full Options currently Mom's IS
2016 NX 300h Luxury - Gray on Red - - Full Options - bough for mom as replacement for IS - cause NX has everything (360, Hold, AWD, HUD, Power Trunk, Much more space, Radar has Stop-and-Go 0/160 - unlike IS despite 2017 it stops at 40 km/h) - but after just couple weeks Mom said she sadly doesn't like the NX too much so had to sell it, and she went back to IS we didn't sell in the time
2015 IS 200t Luxury - Black on Beige - not full
2013 IS 300h F-Sport - White Pearl on Black - not full
2012 GS 250 Luxury - Blue on Brown - not full
2014 GS 300h F-Sport - White Pearl on Red - not full
2015 GS 300h Executive - White Pearl on Gray - only Sunroof as option
2018 ES 300h Luxury - White Pearl on Black - not full
2021 ES 300h Luxury - White Pearl on Black - Full Options
2018 LS 500h AWD F-Sport - Mangan Gray on White Leather - Full Options
2021 RX 450h Luxury - Silver on Lotuswhite Leather - missing Panorama only? Stepfather RX currently
2013 GS 450h Luxury - White Pearl on Beige - Full Trim Ultra
so from having so many cars in the family i can definitely say GS 450h even Pre-Facelift is the best Lexus ever made! for it's price range ofc! yes its not Legendary LFA and its not gorgeous LC 500, but those cars are on another league in terms of price, so for its own money GS has everything you ever need! and 18-Way Seats are the best!
and Facelift GS is just on another level, they improved basically everything and made it so much better! so i am hunting for one but sadly no luck so far ;(
those are just my 2 Cents...
