Do you guys have Dinan in the Middle East? The Dinan Stage 1 upgrade gives you 495bhp, 571 lbft torque for an additional $3000. Available through many local BMW dealers in the US.
Sounds like you really like the new 5 Series. You should get one, as it seems it would be a great choice for you instead of a Lexus .
yeah, bring dinan over to your area, i am sure a lot will buy
550i, damn, super nice car. congrats (to your wife? hehe)
That's not what I meant. Dinan is a disaster here. Steve specializes in US market, he has tried to tune Euro cars in the Middle East before and they were all disasters!
Also, Dinan is no different to any other tuners down here, they are much more expensive and offer no warranty.
So the answer is simply NO, bimmer owners down here hate Dinan.
Is it possible they meant "two new F models" being the GS-F and redesigned IS-F? Though I hope it's 2 new in addition to the IS-F. LS-F would be AWESOME!

IS is not getting an redesign next year, i dont think...
Considering the Camry is keeping the 3.5 V-6 but its bumped to 280hp with a 2-3 MPG improvement I expect the same for the GS V-6....maybe a bump to 310hp or so with a 2-3 MPG improvement. Not sure will it get the 8 speed tranny in the V-6..
I did hear the GS is going to keep V-6/hybrid/V-8 so maybe we will see a next gen GS 460/500 and then a GS F.
At this point I'm ready to just see the car. Getting tired of speculating.

if they keep hybrid and v8, i wonder how they are going to rate between the two
You missed the part where they entered a CT in the Nurburgring race last month? With a bigger engine might I add. So what car would be a new F model if the IS already has an F model? The CT has been out long enough, an F version would be my guess.
