Default Brake Hold not working

Hello everyone.
I bought few months back 2016 GS450h Luxury european spec and i'm very happy with the car, the best car i ever own but looks like brake hold is not working, hill start is working fine. On starting up the car i see green/yellow lights to light up on dash (guess self test) but after that i cannot make it to work, no lights show up on pressing the HOLD button. On connecting techstream i did not see any error, also cannot see test for that system. Dealership want me to wait 1+ month to check brake hold since there are no free hours.
I'm suspecting that button is not working but don't want to disassemble the dash before trying everything else.
Does anyone experience such an issue or have suggestion how to find out/fix it myself?

@NSI - This may help!

Note the seatbelt must be latched.

bclexus thanks, I checked the manual first before posting here, even matching all of the requirements still nothing. I know some other brands you need to press pedal a little harder to engage brake hold but from manual i know that is not the case here. Tried any possible combination with/without seatbelt, different modes etc. still nothing.

There should be an active data list you can view to see if button press is being detected by the system.

Try checking in Chasis data list, but will try to check later today.

@NSI - Your 2016 GS 450h Euro Spec built for a Euro destination may have the same brake booster issue that affects the Brake Hold feature that some dedicated North American models had, which is addressed in the TSB I am attaching.

See the Lexus Customer Support Program 23LE04 TSB L-SB-0009-23 in the attachment of this post.

I hope this may help you!
