i had the HiTracs installed. You guys were spot on, nosier than the Quadrac Pros when installed, not as noisy as the Quatrac after 10k. I will be replacing these.

I am no longer an aggressive driver (I think that comes with age), easy on brakes and the gas pedal although with a GS on the highway one has to look at the speedometer as the car flies.

I did get 40,000 out of the Pirelli P7’s, to me a 70,000 mile warranty is not something I pay attention to as I have not heard of any tires that go as long as their warranty.

Is why I don't go with cheap off brand tires. Michelin, Pirelli, Yokohama only especially on a quite Lexus.

What was your old QuadTrack and new HiTrack's load and speed ratings?
I suspect the old QuadTrack is a higher Y rated 300 kph metric speed rating with a more rigid tire construction, while your new HiTrack is a lower V speed rating rated at only 240 kph metric with a much more flexible construction for a softer ride.

Hence, while old QuadTracks have a softer compound with a more rigid construction, your new HiTracks have a harder compound disguised by a more flexible construction.

Normally, the harder compounds are noisier.
However, I find that softer compounds like your old QuadTracks start soft and quiet but must become harder and noisier as the tread blocks wear down.
On the other hand, I would expect your new HiTracks to be harder and noisier the whole way through - but this will be cushioned by a more flexible lower speed sidewall construction.

it appears the Italian government has stepped in to limit the CCP ownership and their influence, so I will be looking at the P7 + I think it was again.

The Chinese only have 40% of Pirelli.
When it comes to All Season tires, there is not a lot of choice.

18" Wheels = Michelin, Pirelli Cin P7 Plus 3,

19" Wheels = Yokohama Advan Sport A/S +

Michelin, are nice but way too much $$$$ and wear way too fast!

I just ordered the Pirelli P7 Plus 3, hope they are as good as my previous Pirelli. The reviews look great.
