Had an accident recently that requires me to change the two front headlights on a 2015 GS F-sport. I am replacing the front bumper to the same 2015 design but wanted to change the HID headlights to LED. Since I am replacing the lighting assembly, I wanted to see if there are any options to change it out to LEDs. Reading about some issues with the 3 beam LED having issues and needing the ECU replaced, I am not willing to do that. So I am thinking of doing just the single LED. Any suggestions on where I can get the lighting assembly other than from EBay? Can it be retrofit to use the original HID assembly with LED? Thanks in advance.

 

I could be wrong but I kinda think the 2015 has LED headlights on base model. I used to have a 2013 and it had HID, for some reason my memory is telling me they switched to LED in 2014. Someone else here probably knows for sure. My 2017 has LED and frankly I preferred the color temperature of the HIDs, I could see more.

 

My 2015 had HIDs. The switch to standard LEDs was in the 2016 refresh, as I recall.

 

JDR76 is right - the OEM HIDs were discontinued and LED headlamps were introduced as standard equipment in 2016 with triple LEDs as an option. A retrofit to LED on your 2015 will be difficult.
