Re: 2006 Gs 430

Hello Everyone, need help in the location of the ECU. Unsure if it's in the engine bay next to driver's side headlight so any assistance is greatly appreciated. I'm experiencing the harsh downshift when coming to a stop. Prior Posts state it's the Transmission Control Module on the ECU.

W0w! 80 views & not one reply. Anywayz, thank u Goko {Moderator} for taking the time to reply. I'm sure at least one Gs owner will encounter this issue & this may be helpful.

"Dont quote me, as i havent fully pulled it out yet... but to the right if the engine, between the engine and the fuse box there is a black box....
Now i havent opened it up yet but it is 3 screws, wirlth wires coming out the back (towards the firewall) and to the right (next to engine bay fuse box on the right). Open that and check with the company to confirm that is your ecu (you can cross reference part #s online as well)".
