Hi all. I'm a fish out of water here. We just got our '06 GS350 from Japan and the climate control/infotainment center died, which of course controls the temp. It's February in Saskatchewan. I need heat lol. It didn't just stop. It tried. For about a day, it cycled through the startup, the screen would cut in and out with crazy lines, it showed us the image with a hard drive trying to reset. So I think that rules out a blown fuse or disconnected wire.

I'm not really sure what the options are. There aren't any shops in the local area I trust. I found a replacement on eBay for $400 CAD, but it's the North American unit. I need to know if I can install it or if I need some kind of adapter to go from JDM to NA. The other option I know about is the Grom Vline VL2, which will run me around $1200 CAD.

Any advice appreciated
