08 Gs350. Just picked it up from Lexus. Apparently the ECM and fuel pressure sensor were bad. Ok. Now my airbag light is on which was not on before being towed. They claim not their problem. $2200 to fix it. Just paid $3300 for the other repairs. NOW.....my fuel door will not open. The inside buttons will not pop trunk or fuel door. Clearly not broken before being at Lexus or how would I have gotten gas? My understanding there is an emergency pull in trunk? Any suggestions on how to access this? I should have gotten gas after leaving dealer, but I waited until next day.
This picture is from the 2006 GS300 Owner's manual. It's bit misleading like you could easily see this. The reality is it's hiding a bit.
I just checked, and it's definitely in there and I was able to open the fuel door by slightly pulling down on this lever.
However, when you look through that small opening in the left rear side of the trunk lining, it's almost impossible
to see the light colored lever, but it is there. From the lining opening hole, it's sort of in the upper right corner side,
but about 4-5 inches deep, so you have to stick you left hand deeply to catch that lever.
