Door logo courtesy lights

Anyone know if these would work on a 2006 gs 300?

everywhere i look i see these logo courtesy lights but none of them say they work on a 2006 gs 300...

anyone got these installed?

Probably it wont fit 3GS. I also shopped around for the door courtesy light for 3GS and found nothing has the shape as the OEM. I ended up hardwired a small led board into the OEM

can you elaborate on the hardwired a small led board part? I’d like to do it myself

I bought something like this

The LED strip should be short and thin to fit under the door, remove the OEM light, connect the positive/negative of the led strip to the positive/negative of the OEM housing. Need to cut or modify the OEM housing to fit the new 2 wires, then reconnect the OEM housing to the plug. Then you will have both OEM and LED strip on whenever the door opens. Please don't cut or do anything to the plug as the power wires are extremely short. It would be easier to connect the LED to the OEM housing.
