Default GS460 Camshaft Sensor and O2 Codes

As most of you know, this car has been a total headache since I’ve gotten it. After slowly working out all the issues, I figured I’d be in the clear, but.. no.. anyways.

These codes showed up last week. I cleared them as I thought they were a fluke, but they have returned. I decided to not drive it to work today. Codes are below. Any and all help is highly appreciated.

P1360 A Camshaft position actuator circuit open low high bank 1

p1361 A camshaft position actuator circuit open bank low high bank 2

P1364 C camshaft position actuator circuit open low high bank 1

P1365 C camshaft position actuator circuit open low high bank 2

P0031 Heated O2 heater control circuit low bank 1 sensor 1

P0051 Heated O2 heater control circuit low bank 2 sensor 1

only recent work that was done to it was the belt tensioner, but all sensors and connectors were reconnected. This was done about 3 weeks ago.

Hi, did you find a solution to the code? I currently have the same code on my ls460 along with a p0013 and p0023 code.

I got a camshaft position sensor code before and I just replaced the sensor and it went away. Sometimes it'd come back for a day but i'm pretty sure it's because the engine burns oil and throws off the sensors occasionally. Did a piston soak with Berrymans and a ton of carbon came out, haven't gotten a code like that since.

I would look into that, the VVT solenoids, and the camshaft actuator itself.

My guess is maybe the cam vvti gears are worn out, throwing off the engines timing, and tripping all the camshaft sensors. Usually happens when oil isnt changed often. Putting fresh oil may help
