Gas mileage question
But there's something else I noticed that struck me when I had the GS: the reserve light appears when there's about 15 liters left (4 gal). Way more preventive than most cars I know, whose reserve light says go to the station within the next minutes or you're stranded. And when the needle faces the last line, it's not empty: it can go lower, you can see it if when you shut the car off. To test that I drove one time long enough I nearly reached that point, I managed to put 67 liters out of 71.
I think these are just measures taken by Lexus so we don't go too low on gas to avoid breaking the fuel pump.
