Default Rear Stabilizer bushing

My rear stabilizer bushing looked a bit tired so I tried to take it off. There is a nut welded to the subframe and the bolt snapped right off from rust. A touch with an air hammer got it off, it is just a metric nut and bolt. Anyway, it seems though that some cars have a different bar. My bushing(on both ends) seems to have gaps (not from wear). It may not be replaceable, it looks nothing like the part labeled 48818 (I've seen pics of those, it looks like the diagram). Mine looks more like a control arm bushing with a metal center, I don't even think it is replaceable. My hardware looks like the right bar. Is it replaceable?

Post a pic of the bushing, also do you have active control suspension?

It probably would be best to just buy this part from your local dealer. That way they can match it to your vin, would save you headache vs buying online. Plus this part doesnt look it cost much money

Rockauto.com sell the bushings aswell with pics

Could be AWD/RWD difference.

I took a pic but the lighting was terrible. Here are better illustrations. There are two types it seems. My bar is 14 mm. All the aftermarket ones are 17 mm like this (designed for the bar in the first pic): https://www.ebay.com/itm/152055624242

Seems it is sold new as a unit with bushings....

Thats weird all are showing for the V8 GS's with adaptive suspension and not the base model.

But this one site shows it as a separate part its #3 in the pics https://parts.keyeslexus.com/oem-par...bar-4880530040

Maybe I'll call a dealer with the VIN. I think though there were two bars in production.

Maybe the aftermarket bushings fit on that inner piece? The rubber is bonded to it.
I hate to take it apart, I'll probably break more bolts. I know the bar is 14mm.

The 14mm bar is a joke anyway and it is no sportscar , especially with some miles on the bushings. I am thinking of this now:

Even better! I say go for it! When you told me theres a 17mm I started thinking that would be a cheap upgrade to buy a used and mounting it. But since you found bar at a killer deal, go for it. It will def fix the lazy tip in our cars have. Would be nicer to do the front aswell

Such a thin swaybar goes on a Mercury Grand Marquis with the grandpa package
Wondering though if the mount points are compatible. Maybe I'll ask the seller.

The 17mm could be hollow though. They could be very close in the real world.
