Default Please help!! 2006 GS won’t start

Hi guys!! Please help!! I have a 2006 GS300 with 138k miles. I do not know why it is not starting. The push start button remains red and keyfob battery is brand new. The car won’t crank or start, won’t go into accessory mode, nothing turns on in the cluster at all but the entertainment screen works. windows won’t roll down. But I can unlock the car with the key fob. If anyone knows what this could be, please advise. Thank you so much!

Have you tested the cars battery voltage to see if youre getting a bit over 12 volts? I would inspect the battery voltage and clean/inspect the battery terminals first. Also the key fob has a fail safe, in that if you press the key against the actual button, even with a dead key fob battery it should fire up.

If you have inspected all of the above, then the next place I would test is the actual starter. Jack the car up, crawl under it and put a test light on the big power wire that should light up, next remove the small wire and have someone press the starter button, once they press that button you should see 12v coming out of that signal wire. That wire tells your starter to fire on! If you get power on both then your starter is bad.
