Mark Levinson speaker alternative
Hello everyone, I’m new to the forum and I know this question has been asked a gajillion times but does anyone know if there is an alternative speaker brand for the Mark Levinson sound I have a 2007 Lexus GS 350 awd. I contacted my local Lexus dealer and the price for speakers was effin ridiculous.
Speakers have the same factory amp on minenot sure of the name just got the nicest ones that werent component speaker that need another amp etc, I do have a JL amp for a 12 inch subwoofer tho and a vaistech thing to stream bluetooth. I had read on this forum that the speakers were non-replaceable but just went in and the guy had like three different options I'm sure any legit stereo shop can switch it out my whole sound system was like 3K all in nothing special The majority of it being the amp and sub cost

No the stock amp only runs my speakers, I took out my stock sub and had a 12 in JL subwoofer installed withe a 600watt amp for the sub. So stock head unit with the vaistech so you can stream bluetooth which runs to the stock amp that powers new speakers. And an amp and sub run into the stock head unit with a bass control all that was the 3k installed in nor-cal could be more or less depending on components picked.
Basically find a shop bring it in and they'll write up the full cost before even installing. If you're looking to do it yourself I got no info , I stay away from car stereos etc on anything semi new.
