Default Can't make "Oil Maint Required" go away

I just did a oil/filter change on my 2006 GS last week. I have a Blue Driver Pro ODB tool and did a complete scan - no issues. Nonetheless, I had to clear the "Oil Maint Required" message from the dash and all other codes. In less than a week, the Red warning triangle reappeared with that message. Maybe driven 20 miles since oil change.

The car had a new gas cap and new spark plugs/coils 2 years ago. A new alternator last year. I don't think these are relevant, just mentioning. Has about 126K miles.

Could this message indicate some other problem, and if so, why does my Blue Driver detect nothing?

I believe there a setting either on the nav screen on the drop down box to reset that it’s the low oil light that you have to worry about

exus takes us through the steps in resetting that Maintenance Required Light that pops up on the Instrument Panel. Depress and HOLD the Trip Meter RESET button while turning the ignition switch to the ON position. 7. Turn the ignition to the OFF position.Apr 17, 2018

I just tried finding such a button/setting and could not. I looked through all the nav screens and buttons on the drop down.

You have a trip meter reset button somewhere on your dash. On the 08 and newer GSs It's in the drop down control panel on the left side of the dash. On your 06, I believe it is on the left side lower dash panel.

EDIT: Your reset button should be on the drop down control panel, right next to the ODO/TRIP button.
