We drove up to Detroit for the weekend. Just over 200 miles each way. The MPG for the first 3/4ths of the trip (combination freeway with some traffic jams and surface streets) was about 28 MPG. For the last 100 miles (almost entirely highway) we got 32 MPG.

I'd try soaking the pistons with a disolvent like pouring some in the spark plug holes, letting it sit for a day. Then going for an agressive drive to burn off the soaked softed down carbon. Then do an engine flush and then put new oil in. Do this before every oil change for a few changes it might actually clean your rings and get rid of oil consumption. Do install a catch can between pcv valve and intake.

But before you start the engine pour some oil all around the cylinder walls and maybe run it with fuel pump relay removed to lubricate the cylinders before starting

"Samsonn25", that's impressive. Any high mileage maintenance we should know about? I know you have a hybrid but still. And I love that the battery's been on its way out for 80k. That's the guest that spends three hours in the foyer 'leaving' the party.
I have not done much besides oil changes, tires, brake pads.. Plugs were changed at about 130k. I changed 1 o2 sensor B1 upstream at 220k. Had new mid pipe made at 210k because it leaked in 8 spots . The right side cat might be going, 90% sure.

The major things I want to do at 250k is the water pump, thermostat. Serpentine belt. Tranny drain and reer end drain. The abs modulator has been making a whining noise since 160k but it still works, the sound is slightly annoying and the abs kicks in too early on moderate to hard stops.

243k now

It also throws the code abs vsc lights sometimes. There was one time the car stalled and died with the hybrid battery light CEL on. I could not start the car. and the check hybrid battery light woyuld flash 50-60 times then the car would start.

I went around this by resetting it, put power button in 2 position, open and close driver door, wait 10 sec, then hold brakes and push start button.

Also the abs modulator is whining and many say it is not a good unit, but it has been this way for last 80k and still works.

Default 80,050

I bought my 2011 S190 back in April when it had about 78,500K miles on it and now have 80,050 miles on it. Just recently did an oil change with full synthetic. Thinking about flushing the ATF since I dont know if previous owner took care of it recently

'07 GS350, bought new, now has 97k miles. Extended warranty covered 3 stereo system and one sunroof motor, an idler pulley, and a water pump replacements.
Went looking at a new GS350 and was completely turned off by the 'cow catcher' front end. I'll keep my much better looking (eyes of the beholder) '07.

2006 GS430 original engine/trans 261k miles and still going strong. Just had to replace the tensioner pulley, and rear struts (I did the fronts last year)
Sucker runs awesome, give me 19-21mpg in town and 26-28mpg at 4500'-8500' elevation. Between SLC and Park City

What sort of interior sound levels do you get when you're at highway speed?

Dang, near 300K miles?
Nice, I'm only at 112,800, so I've got a long ways to go.
