How Many Miles Are On Your 3rd Gen GS?
#31
We drove up to Detroit for the weekend. Just over 200 miles each way. The MPG for the first 3/4ths of the trip (combination freeway with some traffic jams and surface streets) was about 28 MPG. For the last 100 miles (almost entirely highway) we got 32 MPG.

Pole Position
But before you start the engine pour some oil all around the cylinder walls and maybe run it with fuel pump relay removed to lubricate the cylinders before starting

'07 gs350 AWD. Just turned over 140k. Previous owner drove it 30k without doing more than an oil change (20k after buying it). This species, man. Did brakes, serpentine, fluids, filters. Thankfully the first owner did the water pump. Trans and diff flushes are up next. Still shifts smooth, but I hope it's not too late.
"Samsonn25", that's impressive. Any high mileage maintenance we should know about? I know you have a hybrid but still. And I love that the battery's been on its way out for 80k. That's the guest that spends three hours in the foyer 'leaving' the party.

The major things I want to do at 250k is the water pump, thermostat. Serpentine belt. Tranny drain and reer end drain. The abs modulator has been making a whining noise since 160k but it still works, the sound is slightly annoying and the abs kicks in too early on moderate to hard stops.
243k now

I went around this by resetting it, put power button in 2 position, open and close driver door, wait 10 sec, then hold brakes and push start button.
Also the abs modulator is whining and many say it is not a good unit, but it has been this way for last 80k and still works.

I bought my 2011 S190 back in April when it had about 78,500K miles on it and now have 80,050 miles on it. Just recently did an oil change with full synthetic. Thinking about flushing the ATF since I dont know if previous owner took care of it recently

'07 GS350, bought new, now has 97k miles. Extended warranty covered 3 stereo system and one sunroof motor, an idler pulley, and a water pump replacements.
Went looking at a new GS350 and was completely turned off by the 'cow catcher' front end. I'll keep my much better looking (eyes of the beholder) '07.

2006 GS430 original engine/trans 261k miles and still going strong. Just had to replace the tensioner pulley, and rear struts (I did the fronts last year)
Sucker runs awesome, give me 19-21mpg in town and 26-28mpg at 4500'-8500' elevation. Between SLC and Park City

What sort of interior sound levels do you get when you're at highway speed?
