I'm about to buy a 2008 Lexus GS450h, but have some concerns regarding check engine light and triangle light that is on in the dash.
Owner tells me that the message displayed in the middle means "Check Active suspension system". Possibly because of low batter voltage in the trunk.
How do you plan on reading those messages (some are important info) after you buy the car?
Personally, I would not buy a car that has the "check engine" light on unless I could personally confirm why i.e; I scanned the code and could pinpoint the problem. These cars are very complex electronically and can be very expensive to have repaired when some things fail. I suggest that you get a professional opinion before you pull the trigger.
