Anyone have 175k+ miles on your GS ?

215k here on my GS460, had 130k when I bought it. Other than the starter dying at 180k no problems at all, honestly drives just as well as when I bought it. Changed the trans fluid around 170k and I believe that was the first time it was ever done.

I have a 06 GS300 195k
I was always curious, as to why, but even taking into account production numbers, I see far less high mileage GSs than other lexus models. The ones that I do see high mileage are often, but not always, beat up. Was wondering if this was the result of the car, or the type of people who buy them.
That being said I’m at 160k, there are plenty of high mileage GS430s, a few 350s, but I want to see how many are 300s, which is kind of difficult because of 1. The carbon “problems” and 2. They were only made for one year.

trying to hold on to no car payments for now.

with high mileage cars sometimes the key is buy assemblies and not mess with individual parts. like buy a low mileage used subframe with arms, brakes, bushings, instead of buying every part individually. Sell your garbage parts on ebay to some fools. Soon you will have a new car. You have to know somebody in the parts recycling business or you will get ripped off.

I've got a US spec 2009 that I drive in Germany at speeds in excess of 100 mph normally, very good strong car. I've got to get a new exhaust manifold for it but that will be the first major repair on the car since I bought it in Missouri in 2009.

Will turn 180k by the end of the week, only issue is a bad cat/possible exhaust leak on Bank 2. It doesn't affect anything so I just keep driving, typical fuel mileage is 26-28 on my 150 mile a day commute.

Exhaust Leak is $75 repair at the right shop. Better than new.

I plan to have it checked out, just haven't had the time at this point. It did pass emissions before I bought it so I'm leaning more towards a simple leak, especially being AWD and still having most of it's shields on the exhaust.

I have an 06 430 with 199k, going strong but the cooling system crapped out a couple days back, it's now at the shop and it will get new radiator, thermostat, water pump including the timing belt service. Bought it with 159k in 2015 and it needed nothing but oil changes, brakes, and tires until now. I plan to keep it until it needs timing belt again which should not be in the near future, so at least 6 years.

Yep, I have an 09 GS350 AWD w/95K mi. and I just removed the heat shields from my exhaust last week. Luckily my car came from Kentucky so it didn't see the winters/road salt that we get here in Wi. and I store it in the winter so it still won't. My pipes still already had surface rust on them. I am going to sand the surface rust off and shoot them with some hi temp black header paint to arrest the rust process. They should last a long time now.

I just turned 92k in my 2011 GS350 RWD. Bought it with 58k about 1.5 years ago. Plan on running it to at least 200k. Water pump is on my mind as a near future replacement.
the driver seat leather is worn and completely cracked, bought new leather cover and will be replacing that soon.
