Shaking in D/R+brake
i just got done replacing rings and seals on my 06 gs300 with 220k miles. No more black smoke out the exhaust, but when im in d or r, the car shakes back and forth. It needs all 4 struts(car rides on springs) and the vvti oil control valve connector is broken on one of the intake cams. Also it has regular gas in it right now, and the battery might be dead.
appreciate any input. I was quite happy the engine started and runs after i touched it with my crooked hands

Driving the car, put some fresh fuel in it. Have you checked the motor mounts? When you say back and fourth have you tried opening the hood and have someone put it in D or R to see exactly what the engine is doing.
Actually it was the fuel injector connector which came loose, i was able to push it back in with a stick without disassembling anything. Ill have to put some tape around the injector connector so they dont just slide off
put new 93 gas in it and this thing flies!!
te only bad thing us i got codes 0016 0017 0018 0019 so i probably messed up installing the chain somehow even though it seemed kinda stretched right away cuz one of the marks was just barely off.. it cant be off that much cuz like i said the car runs pretty great for a 220k mile car.
I literally had 30 error codes and was running on 5 cylinders thats why it had no power, wouldnt downshift, and would shake.
