Default 07 lexus gs 350 dash speaker replacement

I am currently trying to replace my center dash speaker with a 3.5 kicker KSC350. I tried to install this speaker and it seems like 3.5 speaker is too big for the hole. In order for this speaker to fit it looks like the hole will have to be altered. The opening seems to be suited for a 3 inch instead of a 3.5 inch speaker. I have a very hard time finding options for a 3 inch speaker to fit that hole. What speaker brand and size did you all use to replace this speaker?

center dash speaker is just for a small FILL in the cabin, honestly I've never felt a difference in the OEM center speaker, w/ and w/out it installed.

May I ask why you're replacing it? Is it broken? Or are you trying to get more output out of it?

There's tons of listings for it out there, I honestly wouldn't worry too much if its broken. Just disconnect and leave it out.

If you still insist though, be sure to OHM MATCH the speakers (I don't know if you've got the ML or Pioneer system, so I can't tell you whether to get 2-ohm or 4-ohm).

I replace all the door speaker with Alpine type R 6.5 for the front door and components for the back doors. I have a Pioneer system in originally. I was replacing the center speaker with 3.5 kicker KSC speaker. I might just put some Apline tweeter in and call it a day.
