Default Headlight Replacement

I have an 08 GS460 and I love it. My only issue is that the headlights are yellowed and show a trillion micro cracks. The headlights themselves are fine, I just want to replace the exterior part.

Is this possible? Can you buy just the external plastic or do you have to buy the entire assembly?

I'll replace mine with these if they ever leak:

Always wanted to have these in the GS.

I wish I can buy them too, unfortunately, you cant. what you have to do is to buy a headlight restoration kit where you will have to sand the transparent cover and coat it. it will then look as good as new. however expect to repeat this every 1-2 years. another option to head to a car detailing shop and he can do it for you for 40-50$

Those look awesome, I wonder what the quality is like. Do you know anyone that has them?

Someone on the forum has them. He hasn't had any issues with them.

More photos on vehicle. http://www.78-works.jp/shopdetail/00...ge1/recommend/

OP Said he has a ton of microcracks on his lenses. My uncle has the same issue.

I cleared it up best I could anyway, so it at least looks better than the yellow haze, but OP will need new headlights either way.

I would really like to hear feedback from those that have these as they're a nice upgrade. I see some IS's with these lights from factory, too bad he GS did not get these. I have the headlight washer option, so not sure if these would even fit.

EDIT: Just found out that these DO NOT have the adaptive headlight compatibility. That's a deal breaker for me if they cannot retain that factory setting.
