Gs350 2011 rpm issues and rattle sound coming from the dashboard
Hello people,
anyone experiencing the following:
1) I've recently noticed that my car's Ron quickly goes to 1000rp or to be more precise if I don't keep my foot on the brakes well the car will simply drive as if my foot was on the gas pedal.... Notice that the room doesn't go down to 0 when I brake and when I'm on park I stays at 1000rpm... Any ideas???
2) there's a little rattle noise coming from my speed Gage when I got bumps of drive on irregular streets but when I put my hand on the Gage it stops it has if something was loosen... Any ideas??

I had a rattle from that area at one time also. Turned out to be a nut on the back of the instrument cluster. I believe that’s what my service rep told me. My car was under warranty at the time so I believe they just tightened it. Not sure how exactly though. Good luck.

If I understand your first question correctly, are you saying that you don't see the speedometer zero-out when you are at a dead stop? Additionally, when you are in Park, you see the tach waft around 1,000 RPM?
