You can go to car-part.com and do a search in your area for majority of reputable salvage yards in your area.

If its just a head gasket, why not just take it to any regular mechanic and have them do a head gasket only on the bad side of the engine. The parts brand new im pretty sure will cost way less then a used engine and the labour to swap it. Just make sure they check which cylinder block side by doing a compression test and checking the flatness of the head to see if it has warped

Call corporate Lexus and have a talk with them. Verify that it IS a wear and tear item, if it is, let them know how stressed out you are over the ordeal.

If they refuse to work with you and you have no choice. Replacing a head gasket is usually a lot cheaper than replacing an engine as a whole. Especially the fact that used engines are hit and misses.

Usually a blown head gasket is pretty apparent. Are you smoking or anything out of the exhaust? There's usually clear tell-tale signs of a blown head gasket. Look it up online.
