Transmission Fluid Change
Hi. I recently purchased a 2008 GS 350. Loving the car so far. Just want to do some freaking up maintenance on the car for my own sake of knowing the car is running as clean as possible. I am about to change the oil but would also like to change the transmission fluid. I know the whole thing about it being "lifetime" and not necessary for me to change it. But I decided I am going to so if anyone can recommend me the best oil to use and any other tips, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Many threads here(GS) and on the LS forum about doing a ATF WS drain and fill. About 2.5 to 3 quarts coming out and measure what drains and then replace with the same amount. I usually start my car and immediately drive up on ramps and turn car off. I wait 15 minutes and then do the drain and fill. I like to do it when the engine and tranny are cooled down. The procedure is in a few threads and that you can search on this forum. Good luck.
