Ventilated Seats Not Working
I believe the heat comes from a pad. I'm sorry you don't have the ventilated seats in your Lexus, but as you can see in this thread, and lots of others, the ventilated seats in most of the Lexus are not all they are cut out to be. I went to Home Depot this last weekend and bought a dark gray welcome mat and cut it up to fit behind the driver's seat, with sticking part into the pocket behind the seat, then rolling up part of it and cramming it under the seat. This helped increase the air flow in my seat marginally, but for the most part, it requires quite a bit of imagination to feel much air on my rear end. My 2011 GS350's seat fans are pretty weak, but I suppose better than nothing.
Theres a post on the forum where a guy rerouted the AC that normally blows on his back passenger's feet right into his drivers seat, so it would be a direct injection of AC if you will.
and as others have said, it is underwhelming but at the same time makes a huge difference between getting sweaty. My friend got in my car when I first got it and thought he pissed his pants for some reason because of the cold air. Weirdo.
Yes it's underwhelming ESP the back rest I don't feel any air coming out at all. Think I gotta scrub it like others said. It does make a difference with Ac on to cool down those black seats.
I think it's pretty adequate. We'd all be getting sick from blowing refrigerated air into our asses
