location of alarm speaker (disarm/arm chirp speaker)
does anyone know where the box is located? i imagine itll be outside of the car maybe behind the front bumper. the reason why i ask is because i think that speaker may have gone bad. the dealer wants to charge me over $1k to pull the brake master cylinder to chase down the wire to see if its chewed up. by what you might asked? the hell if i know!
my assumption that the audible speaker would be behind the front bumper due the fact the Tundra/Tacoma are located in such location, i work at the Tundra plant.
This is a very good question, and seems no one have ever found the location of it, i can tell you that the part number is 8974752010 and possible location is as displayed in this pic (part 12):
Check on the engine bay or around the left front wheel fender. If you find it please share and a pic will help a lot!
