I took off the cover you remove to get to the bulb, and just left a hairdryer on inside and left it until the headlight dried up. It's strange, sometimes theres no water in there after driving in a heavy rain, but its soaked after being parked in a light drizzle. Wish i knew how water was getting in.

pull the bulb, let it air dry indoors for a couple of days (cover the opening with a nylon sock or something, that way not as much dust and crap will float in), put the bulb back in. I did the hairdryer a while back and it shot a lot of dust inside. You probably need to pull the housing and reseal it, but might as well start with baby steps.
