Recently bought a GS450H and wanted to know how many quarts of oil I need to do oil change.

I have a is350, will the oil filter wrench work on the gs450h also. Are these engines exactly the same and use the same filter?

- I change my engine oil + oilfilter + airfilter + interior filter every 15.000 + visual inspection of breakpads and tires + test break fluid with tester + test coolant with coolant tester (testers can be bought on aliexpres)
- Every 60.000 I change gearbox and diff oil. Please make sure to buy your gearbox oil at a Toyota or Lexus dealership. Don't buy any other brand even with same specifications because you will run in trouble. I also clean the inlet and valve in the air inlet. + change the spark plugs. I use NGK instead of Denso and Iridium Pro

Please note that you need a special tool for changing the oil filter.

Without oil filter 6.3 liters
With oil filter 6.5

consumption of +- 0.5 to 1 liter / 5000 km is normal

I use Champion 5w40 Champion Oil I buy it in bulk 15 liter cans good for 2 times maintenance.

Rest is pretty bullet proof on the car just keep an eye on the water pump and poelie if they start to become noisy plan to replace both of them to avoid breakdown an in case of long breakdown engine damage. If there is one thing you don't want to do ... it's an engine swap on a gs450h!

Oil filter wrench will work on both IS250 and GS300 GS450 etc even on most Toyota's with the same system of oil filter
