Default GS 350 AWD vs GS 460

Hello people, a couple weeks ago I bought my 2008 GS 350 AWD with 101k (kms) for $15k CAD black on black with every option. Today, I saw a 2008 GS 460 with 231k (kms) for $11k CAD, it's also black on black with every option. Now I know that the 460 has a V8 and it's RWD so it's more fun. Now if I didn't buy my car, I might've considered the 460. Which of the two cars you guys think is more worthy? Did I make a good choice? I live in a snow area but I don't mind the RWD since I managed with my 07 ES with no problems. Also, how good is the AWD in terms of cornering relative to the RWD?

The ES is a front wheel drive so that's how you got by in the snow. The 460 is a rwd so it would be much more difficult to handle in such conditions. So, just based on that alone, I think you made the right call.

Always go with the AWD option for the snow. I think what you made the right choice for what you need. In my personal experience, the GS460 is great in the snow for RWD! Went to my friend's cabin in the mountains out east here in WA, and when I got there, there was quite a bit of packed-down snow up the twisty driveway; put the car into snow mode and it crawled right up with ease. Having good tires helped a lot also. But yes, you're much better off in the long run with the 350 AWD.

Any accidents on either? Also 230k vs 100k is a huge difference!

That's true, the FWD in the ES may have helped me a lot in the previous years. I hope the AWD now do a better job.

Yeah because I remember back in 2010 I drove a 2010 Chrysler 300C which was RWD and it was very horrible. At some occasions, the car won't move with it's heavy butt. How do you think in terms of handling around corners does the AWD and the RWD differ?

Mine does not have any, I don't know about the 460 because I only saw the ad on kijiji. and yes 130K is a big difference.
