Default Crack on front bumper :(

Did a road trip with my '07 GS 350. Along the way, I ended up cracking the front bumper (just along the bottom plastic grill) I believe from hitting a raccoon (RIP raccoon). The crack is about 4cm long.

Just curious if anyone has any suggestions for fixes for cracks. I was thinking super glue but I imagine there should be a stronger adhesive for cars?

I've attached a photo (ignore the bug guts).

Take the bumper off the car sand the back of the crack atlest 1in space and fill with jb weld epoxy.

If you want added strength you can use a soldier gun tip and gentle melt the plastic behind the crack fuzing it, sand, and then add jb weld

Hmmm I'm not much of a DIYer with cars yet. Is it relatively easy to take off the bumper and put it back? How much would a shop charge to do this?

Not sure how much a shop in your area will charge, its not diffcult to remove the bumper. If you leave that crack alone eventually it will gradually spread and get larger with the vibrations of the road.

Lol it never occurred to me to use JB Weld for bumper repair.

Do you really think melting the bumper will help much? I would imagine that JB Weld should be plenty strong enough to stabilize the crack if it's mixed and applied properly
