Strange Sound
Hello to all..
"sound like baseball card in bicycle spokes while car is in 'drive'".. I have been experiencing the same sound..
I've read much about this and it seems to be wide spread and affects different models and years.
I found the source of this annoying sound (at least on my GS 350). It turns out there was a small hole (about 3/16) just downstream of the exhaust manifold at a point where two pipes meet (passenger side). The hole was on the inside of the pipe and difficult to locate. I had a local shop weld up the hole and replace a few clamps and wholla job done noise is gone!
