Brake rotor replacement
My 08 GS 350 passed 115,000. So I just did a all rotors/pads replacements.
Lesson learned: please remember to release park brake before rear rotor replacment. I forgot and caused one of my rear park brake to lose two retaining pins. I managed to put them back with quite a hassle.
The front caliper is a single piece, and I could not find any instruction to expose the sliding pin so that I can lubricate the same way as the rear caliper sliding pin. Anyone knows how to expose the front caliper pin? The tutorial from this site is from IS 250, and GS 350 is quite different.
My old front rotor is about 1mm over the min thickness of 27.0 mm, and old rear rotor is less than 1mm over the min thickness of 16.5mm. Are my rotors still go for next time resurfacing?
Any recommendation is appreciated!
