Looks like Kodi is the main program used. If you're not familiar with Kodi, just youtube it. But be warned, it's an "interesting" program . . . .

Kodi is illegally legit , have it installed on a cheap firestick for the home. Movies, ****, Sports, International channels, more ****... etc...
Love it for what I paid and don't have to keep paying for a service

I'd be be able to use my ivic with navtool or would navtool be used in place of the ivic?

Nevermind, got the answer! I wouldn't be able to control via touchscreen though.

if you can get a gen 5 hu in use ivic ,if not use navtool
this is the navtool unit..below

reason being in 2006 they did not use a HD Hu..in 2007 thats when they started using HDD

Gotcha, I have it all the hu the nav drive and cd player and ivic, just never did the conversion but this is inspiring
