Default Replacing with Denso TPMS for 2008 GS350

I've been getting hit regularly with the failed TPMS sensor warning for some time now on my 2008 GS350. Figure its time to replace all of 5 sensors for piece of mind. Wanted to see if anyone had any experience with Denso TPMS which are about $40 a piece? Or is worth it to plunk down $65 for the OEM Toyota sensors?

We use Denso as aftermarket as an alternative to factory parts at our dealer. Its the same thing, only Denso doesn't come with a Lexus factory part number. Id do Denso

That's great feedback - thank you. Are there any issues with getting these programmed? Also, slightly off topic, what does your dealership charge for the programming all 5 sensors?

Hold up a sec, we only have 4 TPMS sensors, Why bother tinkering with all 4 when maybe 1 is bad? When the light goes on go to a tire shop that has a scanner and they will be able to locate which one of the TPMS sensors is bad. There are Lexus that have been on the road 10 years with 200k miles without needed them replaced.

I plan on driving this car for a while, and if one has a bad battery figured I would replace all 4 and the spare for piece of mind and not having to worry about this again. I was told the original sensors have batteries that typically last about 7 to 8 years.

There are not many BAD tpms sensors threads here, I would change as needed.

What does it say on the display? Check system?
And if you go to Americas Tire (or any other tire shop) are they able to tell you which sensor is bad?

I'm having issues with my TPMS and no shop can read my sensors.

Thanks

I've used Dill Redi Sensors. They run around $45 each. I would say to gauge what brand of sensor you are going to buy after adding in the reprogramming cost. No point of paying $40 bucks if they are going to overcharge for programming.
