Default VaisTech DR Alternative?

Need your valuable input again guys.
I wanted to order the Vaistech DR which should be able to mirror my Android's screen, but I emailed them first asking if my HTC One M8 would be compatible, and they said that no, it would not be. I am even willing to change my phone in order to get such awesome capabilities but the guy at Vaistech told that even the Samsung S5 isn't supported and only the phones listed on the product page are supported (which has all old phones like the S4 and Note 3)

Has anyone tried the Vaistech with the HTC One M8? Or does anyone know of another product that has similar capabilities?

Thanks!

The galaxy s5 does work, it's just that you'll have to scale the landscape screen in the ivic configuration menu as the bottom row of icons do not fit on the Lexus nav screen.

Also the s5 charger uses a usb 3.0; and the current mhl adapter is only 2.0 minus so the phone will charge a little slower.

Everything else the ivic is supposed to do works with the phone though
