So which toyota part # is compatible w the 2009 gs350??? I checked in w my local toyota dealership n they claim they cannot cross reference parts I must have a part #. I gave him part # 8110753501 and nothing matched. I too am having issues w my passenger ballast. Bought a new headlight so mechanic narrowed it down to the ballast. Im thinking if i should go aftermarket all together sinceit seems da oem is problematic.

Thumbs up problem solved NO MORE FLICKERING

BALLAST from ebay works great for about $60.00 compare to $2,000.00 ballast with headlight from dealer.

lexus should make big improvement on those ballasts in the future...if they want to keep customers around.

is that a 3GS headlight? It doesn’t look like one and this is the 3GS section. I replaced mine a couple months back and don’t see how it’s possible without dropping the bumper. Please give us your tips.

That looks like a 2GS model to me. If so, it does not belong in this forum as it will mislead other owners. Hopefully xshurikx will confirm.

I've deleted the post to save other users the confusion. You CANNOT do this without dropping the headlight off the car

The location of the ballasts are directly underneath the headlight. Not wherever the user has posted.

That's what i thought also, so thanks for deleting his post. The job is intimidating but once you get going, its not too bad.

Default What you Don't want to find!

This was sitting in a pool of sludge. Another reason why weap holes are often needed.

That ballast has seen better days lol.

It looks like it's down to bare metal now....

Isn't it supposed to be painted black?

Not painted, but shiny. Good News: I ended up with a spare pair of lamps!
