Default Is it necessary to change diff and trans fluid?

Hey guys. 2006 GS430, just shy of 90k miles. I'm bringing my car in today to take care of some of maintenance items. I remember reading somewhere that the transmission fluid on our cars should last the life of the car and should not be changed. Can someone verify if that's true? Also, what about the rear differential fluid? Is that also good for the life of the car?

I'll do the timing belt at the next appointment. Just trying to pick off some of the other items first.

Thanks for your help.

Even though your 430 may be slightly different than 350, I have written DIYs for both.
