Default What to consider or base your decision on when purchasing a 3rd Gen GS

Need some help from you guys regarding which car to buy. I will be driving one home tomorrow, but which one will be based a lot on what suggestions you guys can provide me with. So first runner up is a 2006 GS300 red with black interior 82000 miles on the clock sitting at a dealership. Its one owner owned, based on carfax and lexus hx report it was maintained by Lexus.
I made a deal for 13300 with tax and fees 15500 out the door. Car looks in great shape just wear and tear on paint. Scratches on all 4 doors, rear bumper, fog light is popping out but works. Front bumper At one edge clip broken so its sticking out.

The other I have not seen in person, will drive out tomorrow to see it. Its a white with black interior 2006 GS300 private party second owner clean car fax 100,000 miles. Maintained by lexus as well. Got the guy down to 13000 paint looks good in pictures and owner swears its excellent and no paint work.

Now reason for leaning towards the red one, is because of lower mileage, one owner lexus maintained. Can obtain extended 125,000 mile warranty. Negative is paint needs work, fog light, and bumper. Also taxes and fees over 2000.

Leaning towards white GS300, color combo is nice, haven't seen it in person so cannot confirm body is in excellent shape but lets just assume it is. Price is better. Negative thing is the mileage, is it worth getting one with over 100,000 miles. How is the reliability at that point. Buying extended warranty for just 25,000 miles is it worth it.

Which one will it be guys

If they have been maintained, and done the 90K service (timing belt and water pump) they will run forever. I guy I work with has an RX with over 200K on it.

I'd buy tbilisi GS430 or a GS350 because the GS300 is underpowered to me. I think they are very close in performance.

In my experience on this forum the 2006s seem to be more error prone and more susceptible to issues. In addition to the performance reasons stated above i would opt for a 430 if you stay w 2006 model yr or 350 if you can find a 2007+ in your price range

Thank you all for your input, I agree with the performance aspect however I am buying this car primarily do to AWD and a car to get around town in. I currently have my ISF in case I need some adrenaline rush. From what I've read on this forum, and let me tell you GS 3 generation is hands down very informative and organized top notch. It seems GS300 and 350 both have a fair deal of issues. I was planning to get warranty for just the next 25,000 miles just in case. I bought the car, its immaculate looks and drives like brand new. Only thing I didn't like of the bat is suspension super soft and body rolls left and right like crazy. Also the navigation looks so outdated like atari. I cannot even read the names. My 2002 SC430 navigation looked years ahead of this 2006 GS. Thanks again to everyone
