I'm looking for a iPod/iPhone adapter with usb for my 2009 GS450H with Mark Levinson... there are so many Vais adapters out there.... which ones the best for iPod/iPhone audio + video, i wanted digital sound or the most clear, vais or non vais? Also I think I heard Vais is releasing new kits, does anybody know?

so the mml can do both digital audio and video? and i'm guessing i would also need to get the motion lock done.... does anyone have the mml installed in their GS with ML ?

 

no, mml can only do digital audio. for video they used to have ml+ but it's been discontinued. what i meant was the mml is the closest you can have right now

if you must have video + audio, then you will have to wait for ivic for ios. if it's like the ml+ before, it should allow you to do video when car is in motion already (by entering a code).

for the record, due to apple's silly design, with the ml+, you could do digital audio on sound, but when it comes to video playback, video is digital but i think audio was limited to analog only. i hope ivic will be improved (more like apple do it right with ipod out feature)

i have done mml (previously vml), ml+, and ivic (for android) before. mml is straight forward (anything without video is much easier). ml+ and ivic there are quite a few more cables involved so you want to be careful everything is connected. and most importantly is space. these boxes are not small and you want to find a way to hide the box

 

How about VAIS SoundLinQ2 SL2i-UP ? Can it do video or is mml better?

 

sl2i-up is discontinued, sl3i is the latest product

no it is only for ipod audio integration, no video. and it's analog, not digital
