Default Abs, VSC OFF, Car Shakes

Hello! I have a 98 Lexus Gs300, I just replaced my spark plugs and after I finished putting all the spark plugs on, when I cranked the car, the car started shaking a little and the abs and vsc off lights are on. I tried driving my car around the neighborhood to see what the problem may be and when I accelerate the car shakes even more... Does anyone know what may be wrong???

Changing plugs created a "retard"? That wasn't very nice....

Just kidding,

OP,
Sounds like something either wasn't re-connected properly or worse. Double check your work etc..

^ it's a cruel world. LOL

Usually shake is cause by something spinning and it's unbalance. My previous car had a minor misfire once and it shakes... threw a few codes and one of them was RETARD code. LOL

Did you get the correct plugs? I'd only buy the OEM ones. I bought a off brand from AutoZone and they were the wrong size even thought they indicated the would fit. I had the same issue. I'd go with Denso nothing else?

Autozone and Advanced Auto Parts also offer your "OEM" spark plugs. You just have to cross reference them via spark plug model.

Agreed, lol.... But this issue would usually deem universal, so I will give my input.

You should backtrack and see if you unplugged any other wires along the way. After that, check and make sure you did not damage your Coil Over plugs (assuming your car has COPs). if not, you may have done what benztolex did.

Also, some people accidentally tap the head of the spark plug against the threading of the spark plug bung hole and manage to screw up the gap, I recommend a lookover on each spark plug and see if you made a mistake.

GL! P.S. You say it throws ABS and VSC off lights, are your Engine CEL lights not turning on?
