My Lexus GS300 had the engine rebuilt back in Dec 2012 under the recll because it was burning oil. Also had the water pump replaced as well as new spark plugs.

Everything had been fine until this past Saturday. My car was having an issue starting & was vibrating & shacking really bad. I took it to Lexus & dropped it off. I have no idea what it could be.

Anyone else have this problem?

 

Hard to say at this point. The good, "the engine" shouldf be under a 12 month 12000 mile warranty from the rebuild. The bad is something unrelated to the rebuild could have failed etc.. Good luck - let us know what your dealer discovers.

I agree with both statements above. I would like to restate the have everything in writing so if they are able to diagnose the problem soon after the warranty expires then you can show when you first brought it in. How bad is the vibration? I know you say "really bad" but that isn't very descriptive. A video might be helpful...
