hi guys, just a quick question regarding taillights for US 3GS owners.

When pressing the brake, does the inner tail light light up as well or just the outer tail light?

The reason im asking is because, i just replaced my 3GS's inner tail lights (EU version which is Fog + Fake LED ) with the US version so that i can have both the inner and outer taillight light up when i switch on the lights. And due to the fact that i dont have wires and sockets that should come with the US taillight, i had to do a wiring mod so that i use the power from the previous foglight. so now, i have to switch on the rear foglights so i can have both the inner and outer tailight to light up.

So in the case that US inner taillights lights up when pressing the brake, i would have to do another mod so that the inner taillights lights up the way outer taillight does.

So im hoping u guys could enlighten me with the conundrum im having right now. Thanks in advance!!

 

The inner lights (on the trunk lid) only come on with parking lights. Brake lights are only the outer lights.
