Discs and Pads
Hi, I'm looking to replace my disc and pads, but wanted to know if there is anything better on the market than the genuine Lexus ones supplied? I was thinking about getting red stuff pads and would of like some drilled or grooved discs? Its for a GS300 Mk3, and I'm in the UK so not sure what brands you have there that we have here?
Thanks
Thanks
I used prostop ceramics from pepboys, to me I think there better then oem as far as braking. They are a lot better on dust then oem (no dust) and they have silencer plates fixed to them so no need to buy new shims.
If you buy an aggressive pad/race pad they most likely will not last and will chew up the rotors really quickly.

Yes sir..
I have used akebonos for a decade. I kid you not, there is no dust and they last a LONG time. Are they going to give you a super aggressive stop? No. However, they do the job well and with next to no dust even on a daily driver.
