Default NYC shop for Timing belt.

I got another 6 k to go till I hit 90k and will buy all the parts from Sewell to do the service .

I was wondering if someone would recommend a shop in NYC area for this .

So far shop by me that did my LS 400 wants 350 for labor, but I just don't trust them for some reason. I have another shop that was highly regarded by a fellow I know with a IFS , and they want 850 which is not too bad I guess.

I care more about the quality of work more than anything. I don't want to be worried about something going wrong 4 month later due to bad workmanship .

I'd go to a dealer but I just don't trust them to do quality work , I have my reasons.

I'd do the whole thing myself but I feel too old for this sort of a project and rather pay for it to be done.

Any inputs?

Thank you.

I feel you.... I don't think I have the patience to tackle this by myself.

One of our members made a tutorial on it and made it look soo easy too lol.

GL on finding someone btw! I'd hit the "regional" section...

Thanks man.
I already bought the parts along with the tensioner and water pump, the deluxe kit from Lexus sewell
I have a few shops I have known for years who can do it for $350-400 but I'm afraid . What if the mess up, what if something happens down the road.

I still love the car, I think I'll keep it for a few more years. 99800 miles at this point. They racked up fast.

Gonna do tranny flush and diff flush along with the next oil ch age at Lexus .

One of my really good friends does work out of his well equipped garage. He's a member of Liberty VIP and does work on a bunch of their cars, his own and mines as well. He's located in astoria queens. PM me if anything dude.
